Empowering Teacher Leaders to Enact Change in Their District
We tell the story about how the Noyce Master Teacher Fellowship program at the University of Rochester supported teachers in their growth as agents of change. Growing as teacher leaders, each fellow focused on their instructional practice and expanded their sphere of influence to positively influence their classrooms, schools, and districts. The video highlights one step in this process, leading through coaching. This experience highlights how fellows' identities as teacher leaders have grown and illustrates how they work as agents of change in their teaching contexts. Using the voices of the leadership team and a fellow we illustrate how this work impacts teachers and schools in the quest of improving STEM education.
