Science Teacher, Albuquerque Public Schools District, Truman Middle School Albuquerque, N.M. 87121 U.S.A 08/2007- Present Leader for the 7th grade Science Department Horizontal Professional Learning Communities (H.P.L.C), to improve students’ success and achievement in Life Science, I was responsible to created a curriculum map, with the essential questions, scientific vocabulary, academic vocabulary, project basic learning units, labs, and projects to prepare students to be successful for the New Mexico Standards Based Assessment. I am a member of the Advancement Via Individual Determination school site team (A.V.I.D.). Responsible for implementing methodologies, training colleagues, and strategies obtained from workshop sessions provided through A.P.S., U.N.M. and the A.V.I.D. institute. I have presented at the international bilingual conference (La Cosecha) for 10 years in Albuquerque and Santa Fe N.M. Tutor bilingual students in Science and Math after school hours. I have a coding Class after school to teach coding and programing to middle school students.
Agriculture Engineer, Ministry of Agriculture of Peru Lima, Peru 01/1998-07/2006 Conducted research that involved agricultural development strategies that integrated people, natural resources, infrastructures and rural communities. I provided on-going trainings on new agronomy techniques to farmers throughout South America. Developed and improved rural fruit produces access to dynamic international markets. I was able to accomplish this task by updating information and attended new trainings. Trained in Agricultural Projects and business through the German Agency for Technical Cooperation (GTC) and the government of Israel. Contributed to the development of manuals on International Standards of Quality and Quantitative Products, for the Ministry of Agriculture of Peru.
