I am an innovative educator that has a passion for learning and helping students learn! For 18 years, I have had the pleasure of teaching science and am a STEM coordinator for my K-12 school. Being able to challenge students to problem-solve and expand their skills is my forte. During my teaching career, I have had accomplishments that were beyond my own expectations. From meeting President Obama in 2010 for my PAEMST award to traveling with scientists to the Arctic, Antarctic and Galapagos on research expeditions, I continue to seek out edventures. In 2017, I finally completed my biggest goal of attaining my doctorate in Instructional Design and Development that was spurred with the $10,000 from my PAEMST award!
