Dr. Jeff Milbourne is an independent researcher, educator, and policy advisor who focuses on projects related to teacher empowerment in the policy space, as well as complex problem solving. An accomplished educator, Dr. Milbourne is National Board Certified and a recipient of both PAEMST and the Einstein Fellowship. He also served as a senior advisor to US Congressman Mike Honda, making contributions to both the Every Student Succeeds Act and annual Appropriations legislation. 

Dr. Milbourne has served as an advisor for STEM organizations including 100kin10, the American Association of Physics Teachers, and the National Science Foundation.
