I have worked in the field of education for over twenty five years. In that time, I received the opportunity to teach every grade k-12 either in general or special education. In both Virginia and South Carolina.  I served as a school administrator before pursuing a career in higher education. My professional areas of interest include working with under-represented and struggling students, STEM, and cross-curricular instruction.  I also enjoy working with teachers, especially new and pre-service teachers.
