My name is Robyn Yewell and I teach at Winifred Harelson Elementary in Tucson, Arizona. I have a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and two Masters Degrees, one in Elementary Education and the other in Bilingual/Multicultural Education. I earned an Elementary Certification, K-8 and a Specialized STEM Certification, 6-12 with Middle Grades/Early Secondary Mathematics approved areas. In addition, I also earned Prek-12 Gifted, K-8 Mathematics Specialist, and 5-9 Middle Grades endorsements.
In 2017 I was the Arizona Elementary Science Teacher of the Year and currently serve as the Regional Director for Pima County for the Arizona Science Teachers Association. I am a Teacher Forum Member of 100kin10 and also serve as an Ambassador for Economic Education through the University of Arizona, Eller School of Business. I am also a board director for the Science, Arts, and Space Institute located in Tucson, Arizona and for Arizona Future Problem Solvers.
I feel passionate that all students deserve a high quality STEM education and love teaching and learning about STEM.
