I am currently an associate professor of mathematics education at the University of South Carolina. Before joining the university, I taught high school mathematics in North Carolina and earned National Board Certification in Adolescence and Young Adulthood Mathematics and keep both my secondary teaching license and National Board Certification current. I currently work with both preservice and inservice teachers in both mathematics and science and direct grants that focus on developing mathematics and science teacher leaders.
