This award, sponsored by Pearson, the Neil A. Campbell Educational Trust and NABT, recognizes outstanding teaching (grades 7-12 only) by a "new" biology/life science instructor within their first three years of teaching (when nominated) who has developed an original and outstanding program or technique and made a contribution to the profession at the start of their career. The award includes a travel fellowship and recognition plaque to be presented at the NABT Professional Development Conference and one-year complimentary membership to NABT.
