More Than Knowledge and Experience
Description:
Teacher leaders may seem to have far more experience and knowledge than other colleagues in their field but I am here to remind you that the experience and knowledge gained comes after leadership qualities are first recognized in our teachers. My personal journey to becoming a teacher leader seemed to start with nothing more than passion and a contagious amount of energy around teaching & learning mathematics, but fourteen years later I have come to recognize other qualities in myself that helped me develop along the way. I share my own insights and advice with you because I hope to empower you to follow me on this never ending journey of learning and leading others.

Your passion and dedication…
Your passion and dedication to teaching and learning is so evident not only by what your colleagues share about you, but also from the advice you leave to those aspiring to be teacher leaders. Your words are inspiring to all teachers. Thank you for sharing!
You are never finished learning
I appreciated the nature of this leadership video and its author. A connector, one freely giving of her time, connecting with students and the ease in which she does this (students first), and one that loves to learn and does not have all the right answers. It sounds like Denise is one many would be fortunate to emulate in their leadership journey. Kudos and keep inspiring!
