Description:

Now, more than ever, we need people to be able to think through problems with a rational lens: breaking big problems into small steps, leveraging technology to supercharge our solutions. The good news? We are living in a time of overwhelming possibilities. The challenge? Teaching ourselves and our communities through our children how to access those possibilities. WeatherBlur has accepted this challenge.

WeatherBlur is a community-based non-hierarchical citizen science platform that allows elementary and middle school students to develop their own research programs, called investigations, and gather and analyze data to solve a local environmental problem. With the passion of students, the drive of teachers, and the expertise of community members, WeatherBlur is rising to the challenge.
